I made a rather unexciting chocolate pound cake and was toying with the idea of “deep sixing” it when, I whipped up some heavy cream and added a full tablespoon of Bailey’s Irish Cream. I alternated cut up cake pieces, sprinkled with either a little more Bailey’s or some old coffee, and Ghiardelli chocolate chips with the whipped cream in a glass. Topped with more chips, a sprinkling of cocoa powder and more chips. I was a bit generous with the whipped cream, but what the hey, it’s Friday!
