PORK ROAST AND SAUERKRAUT

3-3 1/2 lb boneless pork loin roast

1 apple peeled and chopped

1 onion chopped

1 can Frank’s Sweet Bavarian sauerkraut

1-2 tsp caraway seeds

1 tsp sugar

s&p

garlic powder

fresh thyme and rosemary

While lid of Schlemmertopf is soaking: Season roast with s&p and garlic powder. Mix apple, onion, sauerkraut and sugar together and put in bottom of pot. Put roast on top. Sprinkle rosemary and thyme on top. Cover, place in cold oven and set temp to 400°. Bake 2 1/2 hours.
