1 bag frozen hash browns, thawed
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz sour cream
chopped onion or onion flakes, if using the potatoes o’brien omit the onion since the mix has peppers and onions in it already
lots of cheddar cheese
melted butter, about 6 TBSP,divided
cornflake crumbs or cracker crumbs
Mix everything together using 3 Tbsp melted butter in the potato mixture. Pour into baking dish sprayed with Pam. Mix the other 3 Tbsp with the cornflake or cracker crumbs for the topping. Sprinkle on top. Bake in 400° oven til golden and bubbly,about 35 minutes.
