1 5 lb boneless pork shoulder roast
2 large onions, sliced
1 can A&W root beer
1 bottle or to taste -Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce, my favorite brand ( I used Hickory and Brown Sugar this time)
Place onions in bottom of large crock pot. Stud roast with about 15 cloves, sprinkle with about 2 tbsp or more House Seasoning. Pour root beer over roast. Cover and cook on Low 8 hours. Remove roast, drain juices, chop the onions to a fine mash. Pull roast into shreds using 2 forks. Place meat and onions back into crock pot and pour bbq sauce over all. Keep warm and serve on fresh soft buns.
