1 tube refrigerated cornbread sticks ( use 1 or 2 based on how large your pizza pan is)

1 # ground beef

onion, chopped

1 pkg taco seasoning

jarred salsa, enough to make a good saucy base

sliced jalapeños

3 cups shredded Mexican style Taco Cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Brown hamburger and onion in skillet. Drain. Sprinkle taco seasoning over meat and onion mixture and add a little water to dissolve and make sure it’s mixed in good. Don’t add too much water, I think the package says 3/4 cup but that is too much. Just add enough to flavor the meat. Set aside. Unroll cornbread twists onto your pizza pan or stoneware that has been sprayed ever so lightly with vegetable spray. I used stoneware and it makes the crust extra crunchy on the bottom, but tender on the inside. Seal all perforations with your fingers. Spread salsa on top. Add jalapeños. Add meat mixture, and top with cheese.

Bake in oven 20-25 minutes til crust is crunchy when a corner is lifted with spatula.

Eat with sour cream, olives, tomatoes, anything you like on your tacos.
